Vocational training in 40+ trades — tailoring, electronics, food processing, beauty, and more.
Our Jaipur-based group livelihood programme is committed to empowering women artisans and advancing their economic independence. At the heart of this initiative is Nirjhari Craft, a fully women-led Farmer Producer Organisation (FPO) that operates on a Hub & Spoke model, with multiple sub-centres spread across Rajasthan.
"When I joined Nirjhari Craft, I had never imagined that my embroidery skills could generate a regular income. Today, I manage orders and train younger women in my village." — Kamla Bai, Sanganer, Jaipur
Each sub-centre is structured to tap into the unique talents of local artisans, enabling them to efficiently handle large-scale, time-bound orders through collective production.
Artisans produce a diverse range of handicrafts — including block-printed textiles, embroidered goods, handmade jewellery, and upcycled fashion. These are sold through:
Any woman with an interest in handicrafts — regardless of prior formal training — is welcome to apply. We provide foundational training before integrating new members into the production cycle.
